MUNCHIES, Social Editor

By increasing posting cadence, implementing a consistent aesthetic across all social media platforms, and developing VICE’s first Instagram Story series (24 Horkfest, How-To, and Snack Break), I was able to grow MUNCHIES Instagram followers by 119% from 250K to 547K, and Facebook followers by 114% from 418K to 895K, both in a period of two years.
MUNCHIES became the fastest growing vertical at VICE, and in the Spring of 2018, we were nominated for a Webby Award for Social: Food & Drink.

VICE, Senior Social Editor

As Senior Social Editor, I developed a competitive presence on Instagram for the entire VICE network, including establishing Instagram Stories series as a practice for six VICE channels.
I also created and taught an Instagram Best Practices Guide across the company, and was invited by Instagram to speak on a Social Media Week Panel about reaching younger generations through their app.
